It's been WAAAAAAY too long!!

Oh my goodness, it has been such a long time since I blogged! I stopped because the cord to my laptop broke and it took me FOREVER (it seems like) to get a new one. Now, I'm back!! So much has happened since my last post. I got pregnant and had my 4th boy. His name is Ryder, he was born August 3rd and was 6lbs 14oz. He is so precious!! He already has such a great personality. James had gastric bypass and has lost a total of 130 lbs so far. He looks AMAZING!!! We moved, the boys are now in 3rd and 1st grade, Noah was baptized in April. What else............ I know I'm missing a ton of stuff but I guess that's the jist of it. I wish I could post pictures but I lost my SD card for my camera with months worth of pictures on it. I was so bummed!! But I think I got you all up to speed and now I can start out fresh again!! I will do my best to get some pics up in the next couple of days!! Miss you guys!!

Making cookies

Last night my friend Sharie taught me how to make homemade peanut butter chocolate chip cookies. The were so good, and easy to make too. I've never made cookies like this before, they've always been from a package of some kind. I couldn't believe how easy it was. And they were so yummy. We had so much fun talking, laughing, and baking. I can't wait till the next baking party. Thank you Sharie for teaching me how to bake cookies and for being such a great friend.

Getting started.

Adding sugar.

Adding flour.

Sharie mixing the batter.

End result. YUMMY!!!

Judah's New Big Boy Bed

We FINALLY got Judah is very own big boy bed. We cleaned out the boys' toy room, and made that Judah's new room. We painted, bought a twin bed, a bed for Judah, and a new dresser. It's only been a few nights and he's not used to it and won't fall asleep in it yet, but he does like to pretend he's sleeping in it (only for about 5 minutes at a time).

This was him the first night "pretending" to want to sleep.

Doesn't he look so tiny in this big 'ol bed. It's bigger then a toddler bed so I'm going to attempt to make the bedding myself. I'll let you know how that goes.

Cake for James' Work

On Monday the 24th, James had a meeting for his employees. We had a custom cake made by a good friend Joanne. She did an amazing job. James's employees hit their goal for the year with 2 months to spare. He was very proud of them and wanted to show them how much he appreciated all their hard work and dedication. He said really nice things to them in the meeting and almost got me teary eyed.

Isn't this the most BEAUTIFUL cake you've ever seen? The top layer was vanilla with raspberry filling, the bottom was chocolate fudge with chocolate chips and banana cream filling.

She made it look like it was exploding with money coming out the top like they "blew the roof" off of it.
This is James with his team (minus 1). Good job guys, you did AWESOME!!!

New Haircut

I have been busy so now I need to catch you up. On Saturday, the 22nd I decided that I wanted to get my hair done. I want to dye it (which I needed badly) and a cut. I told the lady that I wanted something that I couldn't put in a ponytail, meaning, I wanted something that would be easy for me to do daily. She said ok, then just started chopping away. I wasn't sure about it at first but it is really starting to grow on me. It's really easy to style and blowdry. It feels so healthy.

This is right after I had it done. The boys wanted to be in the picture too.

This is the back. It goes higher in the back then the front.

Judah's Favorite Show

Right now Judah's favorite show is Yo Gabba Gabba. And after the live show we saw he is even more into the show. We went to Wal-mart a few weeks ago and found out they have new Yo Gabba Gabba items like clothes and toys. We got him a few shirts and he was so excited. Well last night we went back to Wal-mart and we saw they had beenies and gloves for winter. The boys just HAD to have them. I wasn't going to buy them, it's just not cold enough, but they looked so dang cute I couldn't resist.

Doesn't Judah look SO happy?!?!?!

Jonah looks happy too!!!

In public, Noah is too "old" too like Yo Gabba Gabba. At home, he LOVES it. But SHHHHHH!!! Don't tell anyone!!!
AHHHHHHH!!!! My baby is SO adorable!!!!

Live Show of Yo Gabba Gabba

Today we went to see a live show of Yo Gabba Gabba in Hollywood. It was SOOOOOO much fun!! I just want to thank our friend Christian for inviting us. I couldn't believe how many people were there. It was amazing to see how many people love the show. Judah was a little anxious at first and wouldn't sit still. But when he saw those characters he was mesmerized and had a blast. We all did. Jonah danced and sang ALL the songs the whole time. We were right in the front, we got lucky. After the show was over, our friend Christian let us go in the back and we got to meet DJ Lance Rock. He was really nice, and Judah thought he was the coolest!!!

This was us after the show with DJ Lance Rock. Judah was star struck and was acting shy.

This was taken when the show started. Noah thought he was too big to be there but after the first song he was dancing right along side of Jonah. And Jonah kept talking about the show the whole way home.

This is Moono. This was taken almost toward the end of the show.

This is Plex and Brobee. These are Judah's 2 favorite characters.

Here is Judah during the show.......do you think he likes Yo Gabba Gabba?? It was nice to see him REALLY enjoying himself!!

video
Here is a video of one of the boys' favorite songs. You can see everyone, even Noah, Jonah, Judah, AND James "wiggling" around!!

Thank you again Christian for making my boys' day!!!!

The Month of October

Our month of October has been a little crazy!!! By Halloween night, I was WAY over Halloween!!! Let me start by telling you a little about ALL our celebrations.

This was taken at the Fall Festival at the boys' school on Friday the 17th. This was non-stop working for about 2 weeks. We did the Haunted House, picture booth, painted a backdrop, got the fish donated for a game, plus whatever they needed help on.

On Saturday the 25th we had Trunk-or-Treat at our church. We almost didn't make it because we were running so behind. Sadly I didn't get pictures of my trunk but it looked really cool. We bought 6 bags of candy plus we got about 2 from the church and it was gone in about 2 hours.

On Sunday the 26th we went to Trinity's Annual Halloween Party at her Aunt's house. We had so much fun. They made a bloody finger craft, ate pizza and pasta, played games, and won prizes. Trinity's Aunt Joanne went all out for the party and the goody bags. Thank you again to Trinity, Maureen, Joanne, and Patty for inviting us to a wonderful party and I hope my kids didn't destroy your house too bad!!!

On Halloween, we had a party in Jonah's class from 10:30 to 11:30. The kids did pumpkin math, decorated their pumpkins, ate pumpkin pie with whipped cream, and got lots of goodies. The kids were smiling from ear to ear and it was so wonderful to see them so happy.

Next it was Noah's party at 12-1:30. They also did pumpkin math, decorated their pumpkins, ate pumpkin pie, with whipped cream, and got lots of goodies. It was also Noah's student teachers' last day. We love Miss. Rodgick and we will miss her very much!!
After I picked up James from work, we were both EXHAUSTED and did not want to go trick-or-treating. We asked the boys, "do you want to go trick-or-treating or would you rather run around the house in your costumes?" their answer was AWESOME!!! They said "run around the house in our costumes!!!" and they were really excited about that. So we stayed home and passed out candy.
Even though we had fun, we are EXCITED October is OVER!!!!

Taking a stand for Prop 8

On Saturday morning, our church took a stance to fight for Prop 8. Latter Day Saints stood on every corner down Pacific Coast Highway from Long Beach to San Clemente. It was so awesome to see so much support not only from church members but from people passing by. It was nice to see people come together and fight for something we know is the right thing to do. We did have our share of "non-supporters" though. We saw fingers flying, got called names, even had people trying to steal our signs. We just stood there with our heads held high waving our signs. I am a proud supporter of Proposition 8 and on November 4th I will be voting YES ON PROP 8!!!! For more information or how you can help please visit www. protectmarriage.com.

Shanna and I had such a great time out there laughing and making jokes. Thanks Shanna for keeping me company!!!

Our Haunted House Experience

We built a haunted house for the boys' Fall Festival at school. The haunted house was two classrooms. It was so cool. It was A LOT of hard work though. We got drum size black trash bags from Sam's Club and cut them along the sides to make the walls and maze. Then decorated it with spooky things and had people jump out and scare the kids. It wouldn't have been such a success without all the hard work everyone put in. So thank you so much to my wonderful husband James, his brother Ricky, Maureen, Joanne, Peter, and everyone else that jumped right in when we needed it. Sadly I didn't get any pictures when it was done. (I know......I'm a bad blogger!!!) Here are a couple pictures of us building the first room though.

Disneyland........ALL BY OURSELVES!!!!!!!!

On Friday the 10th, my Aunt came over to watch the boys for James' birthday (it was the 8th but did not do anything until Friday). He decided we should go to Disneyland.......and what a great idea that was!!! I felt a little guilty at first, but with the help of my Aunt and my good friend Maureen, I knew my kids were OK. We took advantage of every second and went on all the rides we could never go on before. They lines were so short we got on the rides right away. We had a wonderful time and stayed for quite awhile. We were so exhausted when we got home and paid for it the next day, but boy was it worth it!!!!!

In line at The Haunted Mansion. It was all decorated like the Nightmare Before Christmas. It looked SO cool!!!

In line at Splash Mountain. We haven't been on that ride since we were little. We forgot you get wet. We sat in the front, and boy did we get wet!!!! We were soaked from head to toe!!!!

They had this little scenery in Frontierland. I thought it was so cute!!!

Here we are with our 3-D classes on in "Honey, I shrunk the audience". Now tell me we don't look COOL!?!?!?!?!

New Background

I have decided to change my background. I was getting a little tired of my old one. It reminds me of Batman (my boy's love Batman)!!! I decided that since LeeLou blogs has such cute backgrounds for different times of the year, I was going to change it often. Now all I have to do is find a cute header I like.

HELLO EVERYONE!!!

I had my blog private for awhile and decided that I was going to open it back up again. I am going to try to get back to keeping my blog updated often even if I don't post pictures. I just want to give everyone a update on what going on with The Edington's. We'll things are much better with James. He is feeling much better and I'm glad he's back home and things are getting back to normal (at least somewhat). Noah is doing awesome at school. He is so smart and learns very quickly. Jonah is doing wonderful at school also. He had a few little set backs last week but everything is fine. He is also learning things very quickly also and is like a sponge just soaking everything in. Judah is growing like a weed and is smart and funny. He is learning a lot of things from his older brothers and thinks he's just as big as them. He loves music, and takes my Ipod every chance he gets. Right now he likes Queen, Johnny Cash, Rose Royce and disco, Miley Cyrus, and Justin Timberlake (probably because I listen to Justin all the time). I am consumed with wife and mother duties, PTA, room mom for both kids, room mom coordinator for the whole school, helping with the Fall Festival at school, and volunteering in the boys' classrooms. Other then all the stress, I'm doing great!!!! Leave me a comment and let me know how all of you are doing...............I miss hearing from all of you!!!!!!
